Martha mysteriously described it in a text as a "circus." Not sure what that means, although traveling with 46 boys means you're your own circus :-)
Maybe it means they're clearing Customs in LA, which would be great - quicker exit from JFK. More likely it means they have to reclaim and recheck in their luggage, but not yet go through Customs.
